The always clever Elroy Jetson forms a time machine to transport the Jetson family forward in time, to roughly 4000 A.D.  In a hilariously unfortunate turn of events, the A.D. switch is inadvertently changed to B.C.  The Jetsons go back 7,000 years and meet up with the TV ratings rivals, the Flintstones.  The Jetsons must learn to rough it while coexisting with their prehistoric foes.  In one particularly amusing sequence, George Jetson must master the tricky, dinosaur-powered shower.  This shower scene goes down in film history as one of the greatest shower scenes of all time, as it was the only time a cartoon was ever shown naked, except for Bonkers’ early years, when he did pornos to advance his career.

            This groundbreaking cinematic piece set the precedent for such successful futuristic crossovers as “The Critic meets the Simpsons,” “Freddy vs. Jason,” and Larry Johnson’s “Gramama meets the Family Matters.”
